Ohio Outlines |
|
|
Here are my outlines for the Ohio bar exam. I came to this site when I studied for the February 2011 exam, and there was nothing for Ohio. I was able to make use of a lot of the outlines for the multi-state subjects, but there was nothing Ohio specific. In short, the multi-state outlines are a hybrid between some of the outlines I pulled off of this site, the PMBR mult-state outlines, and the BarBri Class lectures notes. I didn't take any classes; I studied w/ my notes, the aforementioned lecture books, and some MBE sample question book. I didn't spend $3000 for BarBri, I didn't do 200 MBE questions per day. I did, on average, probably 30 MBE questions per day, from about the begining of January until about a week and a half before the exam. (10 days out, I absolutely couldn't not study anymore, so I stopped.) And, I passed by a fairly large margin. My general opinion for Ohio; really focus on the essays, and even the MPT - this is the bulk of your score. Work on the MBE questions, but don't fret over them. As long as you're close to the pack on the MBE, you're fine, as the MBE is only 1/3 of your grade. I didn't do as many essays as I probably should have, but if I were to go back and study again, knowing what I know now, I'd probably have not wasted time doing my own outlines (I'd have just gotten them from someone else) and I'd have focussed on doing essays. Sit down for an hour, do 2, go over them, and repeat. I'd do that 5 or 6 times a day. If you literally go through all of the actual essays, which are posted on the Supreme Court of Ohio' s website, you'll probably be fine. Anyway, w/ my outlines, I'm posting everything I have. Some will be duplicates, some may be incomplete, but everything that I used to study with is here, and, again, I passed.
