Do you know who can help me prepare for the PT in California? The only thing I found is a 2 days conference from Flemmings, but it costs $500!!

If you want to pass....be prepare to spend a lot of money on this....$500??? That is ok...I had to pay $150 per hour to my PT instructor and it didn't work the 1st time...Then 2nd time I hired a private tutor only focus on me...And I passed!!!! Good Luck!!! If you need help let me know

I love Jeff Fleming and used him for my bar prep (which I passed). However, I was not too impressed with the lady who teaches PT preparation for him. Have you looked into who is teaching the 2 day session?

The PT exam is the most over complicated over taught portion of the BAR exam. It is actually the easiest part of the BAR.

Treat it practically. Do not treat it like an academic exercise. Get your hands on every PT ever released by the BAR. You can do that without spending a lot of money.

Take all those exams. Read them two or three times along with their model answers. The model answers, on average, are raw scores of 80 or better.

Then do all of the exams twice. Focus on developing your own strategy for doing the work. Focus on developing your own time approach.

I did it and passed my first time. My approach, by exam time, was efficient enough where I found 30 minutes to spare. I used that to do a spell check, grammar check, and template check.

The courses are a waste of money. Imagine working at a law firm and a PT is actually a real task for a real client. Imagine a senior attorney giving you a PT to do in three hours. Then imagine the senior attorney walking in and seeing you prepare Flemings, Barbri, and other schools outlines for an hour and a half before doing the work.

He'll laugh at you. That's exactly what happened to me.
