One of NY bar exam candidate said that if your MBE score is above 140, the NY BOLE will inform you of your MBE score in advance of releasing the result! (I have tried to contact her to verify this, but no luck). does anyone knows whether this is true or not? If so how far in advance do they inform you of your MBE score?

It most certainly is false. I passed NY's bar in July 2009 with a 156 MBE and found out in Nov. the day results were released.
